Nov 28, 2011 First Blog of the next 5 weeks

So much about the Occupy movement baffles me.  I understand that Occupy groups gather together to camp outside of key monetary environments.  I know that they do this in order to highlight the disparity between the rich and the poor.  They proclaim that the rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer.  I understand that the issue of poverty provides a clear call to change the way American's view money, however I do not understand how camping on public land, using the streets as outhouses and spending all day and night outside of a building will help lessen the gap between the rich and the poor.  May I suggest that these people spend their free time building businesses that help provide money for less fortunate people.  May I suggest that these people put their collective minds together and focus on a remedy rather than on the problem.  I realize that I am tired of all the whining and complaining.  I am ready to hear some creative, life changing ideas.  Maybe we could start by honestly looking at the situation and helping the Occupier's find jobs themselves.
